For kids who want to have fun, get fit, and be fearless!
Our classes are designed with children's developmental stages in mind. Targeting our classes this way keeps them fun and challenging. We play games and practice drills that build martial arts skills.
At Lion's Pride Martial Arts, we model positive character traits like discipline, respect, and self-control and then we see the children develop those traits. We set our expectations through a variety of teaching strategies and work patiently with each student to help her or him meet or exceed the high standards.
Occasionally, we will be approached by a parent who has a unique child and we are asked if martial arts would help a child with special needs. The answer is almost always, "yes." Martial arts have been shown to help people with a variety of physical and mental challenges.
"Years ago, when I was an assistant instructor, the classroom instructor told me that children are adults with short attention spans. I have found that when I treat children with respect, set high standards, and keep the classes moving, that they consistently surprise me with their determination and ability." - Sa Bom Nim Brian Nutter
