Fitness with a Purpose
You want a healthier body but the treadmill is boring, right? It's hard to get up everyday and look forward to the same workout you've had for the past 3 months. We give you give a larger purpose to your workouts. Each class is different and packed with the high intensity exercises you want, but they are combined with practical self-defense and martial arts skills that enable you to use your body in an emergency.
Fitness for Normal People
I'm 45 years old and I don't have the chiseled abs I thought I would have by now. But I don't care, anymore, either. I have the stamina to keep up with my kids. I have the strength to work on my home. I have the courage to stand up for myself and my family. Chiselled would be nice, but abs don't make me a better father or husband. Having a healthy body with plenty of energy for my family makes me a better father and husband.
When you come to class, you won't be judged by your body, just inspired to make it healthier.
I'm Brian Nutter, a master instructor in the martial arts and (formerly) a licensed massage therapist. I have years of training in massage therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I can adapt our exercises to your physical limitations so that you can still get a great work out and you can still gain valuable self-defense skills. I have worked with all types of physical limitations in the past 30 years and I can help you with yours.
This is another way of saying- don't let your knee pain stop you from exercising the rest of your body and getting healthier.
Easy to Start
Everyone has trouble starting a work out program. Our classes are designed to help you ease into the discipline of exercise. This is a discipline that, once developed, can continue to serve you throughout your life. Your instructors and class mates will provide positive encouragement as you get over the hump of starting the program.
