Summer Camps

After this last year, you know your kids are  ready for healthy fun and excitement. Join us for intensive and exciting classes.!

Kama Camp

Learn the history of these
fascinating weapons. Campers
will practice basic strikes and
blocks with training kamas,
which are theirs to keep.
Classes, games, and activities
will take place both indoors and
outdoors. Join us for a week
packed with learning and fun!

Made popular by Bruce Lee and Michelangelo of Ninja Turtle fame, nunchucks are used to develop speed and dexterity. Campers will learn wrist rolls, tosses, and other techniques with training nunchucks that are theirs to keep!

Martial Arts

Boot Camp

New to martial arts? No problem!
Jump start your training with Martial Arts Boot Camp. Put on your uniform and learn kicks, blocks, and strikes through fun drills and games. By the end of this intensive week, you could earn your first belt!

Camps are limited to 12 students to ensure that each camper receives the individual and small-group training that will help them excel. Between 2-4 adults will supervise the campers at all times.

Camps are held from 9am-3pm. Before- and after-care is not available. Campers must provide their own lunches. Daily refreshments will be provided.

Weather permitting, we may travel to area parks for lunch and recess. Children under the age of 8 and between 40-57 inches are required by Kentucky law to use a booster seat. Campers must provide their own booster seats if they are legally required to use one. All campers are required to wear seatbelts when in a vehicle.

A photocopy of both sides of the child's medical card is required to be submitted to Lion's Pride in the unlikely event that emergency medical services are required.

The total cost of one week of camp is $160. A deposit of $50 is required to hold a camper's spot. Balances are due no later than the Monday before the camp is set to begin. Deposit refund requests will be honored until 7pm on the Monday before the camp is set to begin.
